Description
Alice is seeking a hands-on Payroll Controller to lead our financial payroll operations for 300+ employees in Israel and our global entities. This role combines technical expertise with operational excellence, ensuring 100% accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless month-end integration. As a key member of the finance team you will manage the full payroll lifecycle and serve as a key point of contact for employees and cross-functional teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll for 300+ employees in Israel. Comply with the company's financial closing schedule.
- Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports for analytical review
- Ensure compliance with all relevant authorities and regulations, including NI, taxes and other.
- Serve as a focal point for the company’s employees for payroll-related questions.
- Work closely with the finance team, HR and legal
- Taking care of communication with pension insurance agents.
- Manage attendance system and reports, including new employees setup.
- Payroll JE preparation (including P&L and budget items).
- Assist with the preparation of global entities’ monthly payroll process (US, UK and ROW payroll Via Vensure, Mazars and Papaya payroll agencies. Including day to day contact with the different agencies.
- Handling payroll onboarding/offboarding- updating employees payroll data and forms.
- Handling employees’ forms (101, 161, pension, Miluim, Hishtalmut, maternity leave etc.)
- Employees’ reimbursement (via Mesh).
- Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, communicating key changes across teams
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a payroll controller, in High-Tech Company - an advantage
- Certified payroll accountant – Must
- Experience with Shiklulit– Must
- Experience as a bookkeeper - an advantage
- Deep knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll, internal control and processes, and best practices
- Proactive and quick learner, great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Extremely organized, detail oriented and self-sufficient
- Service oriented with a positive can-do approach
- Versatile and flexible, with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
- Proficient in Excel
- English- high level written and spoken - Must
