This position is to achieve new business targets through the assigned distribution channels and in line with the Allianz Trade distribution strategy. The candidate will have his/her own new business targets to build a profitable and sustainable trade credit insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying business opportunities to develop profitable portfolio in line with the company’s distribution strategy
- Generating new leads and acquire new customers, managing existing customers if needed
- Lead the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate marketing resources via direct channels
- Building and maintain relationships with fronting insurers, brokers, insurance agents and banks
- Deliver individual sales activities and new business targets
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs, including providing training and workshops with local and regional brokers
- Register/record and maintain data of the sales activities in the CRM system to ensure good pipeline management/ hygiene.
- Any ad hoc tasks by the managers
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- At least 2 years relevant experience in Financial services B2B sales and consultative selling in Expert know-how in specifics of market
- Ability to build extensive network with prospects, market players and opinion leaders
- Ability to generate your own leads or leads through marketing channels, identify and qualify opportunities and convert them into actionable items that lead to a close
- Expert knowledge in sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with members of other core functions
- Ability to convince customers in negotiations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) in English
