As Financial Analyst you will provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting support for the North America Planning and Controlling team, with primary responsibility for the Canada portfolio. The role supports P&L analysis, planning and forecasting activities, and performance tracking, while partnering with business leaders and finance teams across the region.

Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial insights, supporting management reporting, and contributing to planning processes across North America. This role works closely with regional stakeholders to support business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure consistency in P&C processes.

Way of working: Follows a hybrid work schedule to include 2-days per week in office

Location: Rua José Versolato, 101 – Torre A| Centro, São Bernardo do Campo – SP/ Brasil

What you will do

  • Perform monthly P&L analysis for Canada (primary) and support North America, including close activities, variance analysis, and clear explanations of results vs. plan/forecast.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, by maintaining models, coordinating inputs, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery.
  • Track performance through KPIs, dashboards, and recurring reports; highlight risks and opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insights and support operational decisions.
  • Support month-end/year-end close to ensure accurate, complete financials.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for senior leadership and regional/global reviews.
  • Improve reporting tools, data structures, and processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and cost/performance management
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud‑based tools, using insights responsibly and in alignment with our standards for data governance, security, and ethical use.

What you will bring

  • University degree with 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or similar finance role (insurance experience preferred).
  • Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment supporting both local and regional priorities
  • Previous insurance industry experience preferred
  • Solid foundation in financial analysis, accounting, and reporting.
  • Experience with data tools, query systems and Power BI are preferred.
  • Experience in variance analysis and comfort with large data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate with a diverse group.
  • Multilingual -- Fluent in English and Portuguese
