We're looking for an HR Generalist to support our US retail operations end-to-end. You'll own the full employee lifecycle: from recruiting and onboarding to training, compliance, and payroll. Serving as the go-to HR partner for our frontline retail teams.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for retail roles, including store associates, supervisors, and store management, from sourcing through offer
- Lead onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth and consistent Day 1 experience across store locations
- Coordinate and track employee training programs, including new hire orientation, role-specific training, and ongoing development initiatives
- Maintain HR compliance across federal, state, and local employment laws; keep employee records, policies, and documentation up to date
- Support payroll processing in coordination with Finance, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters, escalating where appropriate
- Partner with retail managers and HRBPs to understand people's needs and deliver practical HR support
- Track and report on key HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and time-to-fill
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of HR experience covering at least two of the following areas: recruiting, onboarding, training, compliance, or payroll
- Experience supporting retail, hospitality, or a high-volume hourly workforce preferred
- Solid understanding of California employment law and HR compliance basics
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and/or ATS platforms
- Strong organizational skills - comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Clear communicator who can build trust with both frontline employees and leadership
- Based in Los Angeles or able to work on-site in the LA area
