We are hiring for the position of Section Engineer - Intrusion Detection System
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Contractor for installation of IDS equipment, including fence sensors, fiber optic cables, controllers, power supply, and communication devices as per approved drawings.
- Verify installation quality and readiness for testing, including cable termination, power supply, earthing, and communication connectivity.
- Coordinate and witness installation testing, functional testing, and integration testing, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and procedures.
- Manage interface coordination with Telecom, OCC, SCADA, and CCTV systems, ensuring proper alarm transmission and communication.
- Identify defects, punch points, and interface issues, and follow up with contractors for timely rectification and closure.
- Prepare inspection reports, test reports, and progress reports, and support Deputy Chief Expert / Chief Expert in commissioning activities.
- Engineering Graduate/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent stream
- Engineering Graduate with overall 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 10 years of experience in implementation of Optical Fiber based systems.
