About the Role

The Working Capital Advisory Consultant is a seasoned, client-facing professional with strong expertise in working capital optimization, supply chain finance, and financial strategy. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-impact client engagements, shaping advisory recommendations, and supporting strategic initiatives across the Working Capital Advisory team.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide advisory support to enterprise clients on working capital optimization, payment terms, and financial strategies.
  • Lead significant components of client engagements, influencing client decision-making through data-backed insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct advanced financial analysis using C2FO’s proprietary data, client data, and external benchmarks to develop actionable working capital solutions.
  • Apply sound judgment in selecting analytical methodologies, tools, and evaluation criteria appropriate to each client engagement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Analytics, and Technology) to deliver integrated, client-ready solutions.
  • Own and manage complex client workstreams from analysis through implementation, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to internal best practices, playbooks, and advisory frameworks to strengthen the Working Capital Advisory offering.
  • Participate in client presentations and executive discussions, building credibility and trust as a senior advisor.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in working capital management and supply chain finance to continuously enhance client recommendations.
  • Strong expertise in working capital solutions, supply chain finance, treasury, or financial strategy.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Confident, polished communicator with the ability to engage finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Comfortable operating independently within defined objectives while collaborating closely with senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to guide and develop junior team members through coaching and collaboration.
  • Travel Requirements: Approximately 5%
  • In-Office / Hybrid: This position is in-office with flexibility to work remotely one or two days per week, working in a collaborative open-office environment with access to private meeting spaces as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in working capital advisory, financial consulting, treasury, banking, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools such as Excel; experience with SQL, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in consulting, banking, audit, procure-to-pay (P2P), or working capital optimization roles.
  • Experience supporting or leading enterprise client engagements.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing deeper advisory expertise and progressing toward more strategic leadership roles.
