Job Overview: Management and leadership of the R&D team.Responsibilities include:- Defining the company’s technological roadmap and assuming the overall leadership of developing the company’s products.- Defining product development milestones and driving the cross-functional team towards those milestones.- Develop and promote a culture of innovation and Algaeing’s position as knowledge leaders in functional & biological textiles.- Managing the innovation processes, invention disclosure processes, and IP filing processes (in partnership with the CTO).- Managing the research from the concept stage to the commercial product stage.- Manage collaborations with various research institutions in Israel and around the world.- Oversee the company’s project management processes and ensure that programs are executed in a manner that ensures multifunctional team representation and adequate involvement, including communication with senior management.- Editing and writing applications for grants.Requirements:- Experience in registering patents.- Full English proficiency.- Background and experience in chemical engineering, polymer engineering.- 3-5 years of experience in leading and managing the R&D
