Senior Analyst, Marketing Technology
Casper
Looking for a job to get you out of bed?
We are seeking a passionate, experienced Senior Analyst, Marketing Technology to join Casper’s Data & Analytics team as we continue building our analytics and data science capabilities. Our vision to be the world’s most-loved and largest sleep company is supported by leveraging data and insights to drive the business forward. Data & Analytics powers data-driven decision-making across the industry and enables Casper to efficiently produce, manage and consume high-quality data.
As the Senior Analyst of Marketing Technology, you will own Casper’s marketing data and Looker ecosystem, and act as a thought partner to the CRM and Growth teams. You’ll deliver insights that shape lifecycle programs, SMS and email redesigns, and long-term experimentation strategy. You’ll help the organization better understand customers throughout their journey — from first purchase to repeat to lapsed — and build a data-driven roadmap that strengthens retention and lifetime value. This role is ideal for someone who is both analytically rigorous and commercially minded — someone who can run the numbers, build the dashboards, challenge results from vendors, and influence the strategic direction of customer marketing.
Casper (Casper.com) believes everyone should sleep better. Casper has a full portfolio of obsessively engineered sleep products—including mattresses, pillows and bedding—designed by the Company’s in-house design team. In addition to its e-commerce business, Casper has over 40 retail locations across the United States and its products are available at a number of retailers.
This is a hybrid role, requiring that you work 3 days per week from our NYC office.
When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do...
- Bring data-driven insights to email/SMS program redesigns to improve engagement, retention, and customer experience
- Analyze customer behavior and purchasing trends across new, repeat, loyal, and lapsed customers to influence lifecycle strategy
- Design and support A/B and long-term CRM tests — helping size tests, define success, and deliver clear results
- Validate results from third-party testing partners to ensure accuracy and trustworthy insights
- Own Looker for the marketing organization — building dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling self-serve insights
- Create and maintain customer and lead health dashboards that guide CRM and Growth decision-making
- Act as a strategic thought partner to CRM leadership — contributing to readouts, shaping narratives, and strengthening recommendations
- Support onboarding and measurement strategy when bringing on new marketing or CRM partners
Our dream candidate is/has...
- 3-6 years of experience in CRM, marketing analytics, customer insights, or growth analytics
- Strong SQL and experience working with Looker and a cloud data warehouse (Redshift preferred)
- Experience with ESP/SMS platforms, CDPs, and marketing or experimentation tools
- Experience analyzing lifecycle performance, retention, LTV, and CRM program effectiveness
- A strong grasp of testing methodology, incrementality, and experimentation best practices
- Ability to turn complex data into clear insights and persuasive stories for marketing stakeholders
- Comfortable pushing back and validating vendor results — ensuring insights are statistically sound
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, etc.)
- Nice to haves:
- Background in retail, eCommerce, or consumer goods
- Familiarity with dbt and Airflow
- Some exposure to pricing, promo, or offer strategy testing
