The position is in the Israeli site , office location: Caesarea
About The Position
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Software Engineer with experience as a Tech Lead, who is eager to take the next step toward a Team Lead role.
In this position you will be responsible for Collecting / Transforming / Storing / Querying a high volume of data, as well as , Analyzing / Visualizing / Exporting data in different ways.
As the Leader of the team, you will oversee all the above and play a key role in decision making regarding the architecture and design of all these systems.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical excellence, architectural ownership, and people management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience as a strong Software / Backend Engineer.
- Backend development, with a strong focus on data-intensive systems.
- Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead or owning complex technical domains.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean code.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, etc.).
- Solid experience with SQL.
- Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platform - AWS.
- Familiarity with Big Data and streaming technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, HBase)
