We are seeking a high-caliber Product Manager for Cybersecurity & Compliance to lead the security strategy for our industry-leading counter-drone (cUAS) systems. As drones become more sophisticated, the systems designed to stop them must be impenetrable. You will be the architect of our "Security by Design" philosophy, ensuring our sensors and software suites meet the rigorous demands of global intelligence agencies, Tier-1 governmental organizations, and Fortune 500 enterprises.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex regulatory landscapes and agile product development. You will handle the unique challenges of both on-premises deployments in sensitive environments and cloud-based command-and-control (C2) architectures, ensuring our customers can deploy with total confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the cybersecurity product roadmap, prioritizing features that address emerging threats, data privacy, and system integrity.
- Regulatory Leadership: Identify and translate global IT security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, FIPS, FedRAMP, ENISA) into actionable product requirements and development scope.
- Technical Product Definition: Specify the software tools, encryption protocols, and authentication methods required to harden the product and its data backbone.
- Testing & Validation: Define rigorous security test methods, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning protocols, to validate system resilience.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary technical subject matter expert in high-stakes meetings with CISOs and security auditors, articulating our security posture and addressing complex technical concerns.
- Deployment Versatility: Define security requirements that support diverse deployment models, from air-gapped hardware installations to multi-tenant cloud environments.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with other Product managers, Engineering, DevOps, and Legal teams to ensure compliance standards are met throughout the entire Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
- COTS edge-devices responsibility: Define the security packages and production line processes for commercial off the shelf (COTS) edge devices ( tablet/PC/smartphones) which are part of D-Fend offering.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically within Cybersecurity, Mission-Critical Systems for Aerospace/Defense.
- Technical Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption at rest/transit, and cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure).
- Compliance Knowledge: Proven track record of navigating governmental IT security standards and achieving certifications for hardware/software products.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate "security-speak" into business value for stakeholders and technical certainty for CISOs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field (CISSP or CISM certification is a significant plus).
