Joining the Pricing Team means contributing to one of the most strategic levers of the business: defining pricing strategies that support sustainable growth, healthy unit economics, and a strong marketplace experience. As part of the broader City Operations organization, the Pricing team plays a key role in forecasting pricing performance across cities in the region, understanding marketplace dynamics, and identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.
This internship offers the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the ride-hailing business through pricing, marketplace performance, and operational strategy. The ideal candidate is analytical, structured, highly collaborative, and comfortable working with data to solve business problems. They are proactive, curious, and eager to work across teams to generate insights, build hypotheses, and support initiatives that improve performance against key targets.
Role Responsibilities
Support pricing forecasting processes for cities across the CASA region.
Analyze marketplace dynamics to help define and improve unit economics.
Identify business pain points through data analysis and help generate hypotheses to improve performance.
Monitor key metrics and provide insights to support pricing decisions and target achievement.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketplace, Marketing, and Pricing to align priorities and drive initiatives forward.
Contribute to projects that improve pricing performance, business efficiency, and overall marketplace health.
Role Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Experience with Python and/or R is a plus.
Ability to structure analyses and translate data into actionable business insights.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, curious, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
