Team Overview

Being part of the Operations team gives you a unique opportunity to help drive growth at one of the fastest-growing companies in the region. This highly quantitative role requires a powerful combination of mathematical intuition, technical coding proficiency, and business acumen.


You will work closely with a high-performing team to launch, scale, and optimize DiDi’s business across Latin America using data as your primary lever. Be prepared for a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly challenging environment. There is never a dull moment!


In this role, you will build the analytical foundation and scalable data tools that oversee critical growth initiatives across the business. Your mathematical models, automated processes, and data pipelines will directly contribute to DiDi’s expansion and success in LATAM.

Role Responsibilities



  • Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines to streamline data collection and fuel automated decision-making processes across multiple markets.




  • Designing and implementing a scalable A/B testing framework to scientifically evaluate business strategies and product features.




  • Automating critical data processes and workflows to eliminate operational bottlenecks and improve team efficiency.




  • Leveraging advanced analytics and statistical modeling to translate complex datasets into deep insights regarding business and product indicators.




  • Partnering cross-functionally with Strategy, Marketing, Product, and core Data teams to ensure robust experimental design and data integrity.




  • Balancing theoretical rigor with swift execution—we need models and tools that are mathematically sound, but also built to scale quickly in a dynamic environment.




Role Qualifications



  • Academic Background: Currently enrolled in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or a highly quantitative engineering field.




  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation, automation, and analysis (required).




  • Analytical Depth: Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and quantitative modeling. Experience or interest in Machine Learning frameworks is a major plus.




  • Problem-Solving Skills: A creative approach to dismantling complex, ambiguous issues using logical, data-driven frameworks.




  • Communication: Ability to translate complex algorithmic or statistical concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations for diverse stakeholders.




  • Languages: Proficiency in English & Spanish.
