Position Summary
General Atlantic is looking to hire an Intern to support the China team at least 3 days onsite per week in Shanghai for 6 months, starting September 2025.
We are offering an internship program designed to work closely with our China Investment team. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to new investment opportunities, industry research, and due diligence across key sectors.
Responsibilities
- Build foundational skills in qualitative and quantitative research.
- Supporting live deal execution in financial models and valuation analyses, and due diligence
- Providing sourcing, prospecting, portfolio management support
Qualifications
- Currently a senior in an undergraduate program or in a master's program
- Majoring in finance, science (e.g., physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science), or languages (preferably Japanese or Korean)
- Proven track record of achievement in academic and other settings
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy and passion for teamwork
- Intellectual curiosity with a dedication to continuous learning
- Collaborative mindset, eager to work with colleagues globally
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions
