Salary range: 14600 - 22300 PLN gross

What will you do?

You will join a large-scale transformation programme focused on building and integrating a global collateral and facility management platform using modern engineering practices and AI-enabled software delivery. As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance production-grade services while ensuring high standards of quality, security, performance, and operational resilience. Working closely with architects, Tech Leads, QA engineers, and platform teams, you will contribute to complex integrations and help deliver business-critical capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Your tasks

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade Java microservices and backend solutions
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architectures
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads on solution design and implementation decisions
  • Create and execute unit, integration, and automated tests
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and release processes
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Support cloud-based deployments and platform improvements
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards

Your skills

  • Around 6 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices
  • Solid experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
  • Experience with schema design, performance optimization, and transactional systems
  • Strong unit and integration testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, or similar tools
  • Experience with API design, REST services, and integration patterns
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance practices
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, SAST, DAST, or dependency scanning tools
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and engineering trade-offs
  • Exposure to GenAI concepts, LLMs, and AI-assisted software development
  • Knowledge of RAG or agent-based architectures and associated governance considerations

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering solutions within regulated financial services environments
  • Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes
  • Experience with service mesh technologies
  • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms
  • Performance engineering and resilience testing experience
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled SDLC practices
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI prototyping and integration
  • Knowledge of evaluation frameworks, prompt management, and version control for AI solutions
