What will you do?
You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations, focusing on digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization initiatives. The role involves designing and delivering high-performance, real-time data solutions, driving architecture decisions, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
Your tasks
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices
- Build high-performance real-time streaming and time-series data platforms
- Lead architecture and technical design discussions across teams
- Implement process automation and system modernization initiatives
- Integrate distributed systems and data platforms using event-driven architectures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and performance
- Promote AI-assisted software development practices and engineering excellence
- Support cloud-native deployments and platform optimization on Azure
Your skills
- 15+ years of experience with Java development
- Strong expertise in Flowable and Spring Boot
- Experience with ORM frameworks including JPA and iBatis
- Knowledge of Azure AD, OAuth and application security best practices
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Maven, Gradle and modern CI/CD practices
- Expertise in high-performance, high-throughput real-time data platforms and streaming architectures
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and SDLC
- Experience with AI-assisted software development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions
