Company Description

The Mart product team is a team that has evolved from the previous GrabMart team, to grow the Mart business beyond groceries. Our focus spans the entire Mart journey, from supply chain, discovery, ordering, and post-checkout experience. We strive to engage and retain consumers on our Mart platform, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our consumers by helping them get whatever they may need or want. If you're looking for a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the growth of Grab’s Mart ambitions, we invite you to become a part of our dynamic team!

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced product manager to manage the strategy and product roadmap for Mart's Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Supply Chain platform. As the lead for this crucial aspect of our operations, you will play an individual contributor role and shape the strategy and execution of backend tech stacks tailored for on-demand retail and dark store models, working closely with other teams to ensure efficient physical store operations. You will be reporting to the Head of Product for Mart, and based onsite in the Grab China office.

  • Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Develop and drive the product vision and strategy for WMS and supply chain systems from 0 to 1, focusing on instant replenishment, dynamic supply-demand matching, and fulfilment monitoring.

    • Create a roadmap that prioritises and optimally sequences product features, such as dynamic inventory management and automated store replenishment, to scale our supermarket strategy.

    • Propose and explore new features and technologies to replace traditional B2B logistics tools with high-volume, instant fulfilment capabilities.

  • Data-Driven Decisions:

    • Leverage data analytics to understand system efficiency, inventory accuracy, and areas for improvement in the supply chain lifecycle.

    • Use data to make informed decisions, optimise replenishment strategies and demand forecasting, and guide the development of new features to support large-scale business expansion.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Be the leader of cross-functional teams, comprising senior engineers, analysts, and supply chain operations, to build a closed-loop product system.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organisation.

    • Communicate product updates, roadmap, and performance to stakeholders and leadership, addressing their concerns and incorporating feedback into product iterations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • More than 5-8 years of experience as a supply chain or WMS system product manager. Priority given to candidates with experience in building supply chain products from 0 to 1 in a dark store or on-demand retail scenario.

  • Proficient in the entire supply chain business link and product core modules (replenishment strategy, demand forecasting, dynamic inventory).

  • Experience defining and tracking metrics that measure the success of products and abilities, complemented by project management skills.

  • Excellent in logical analysis, demand decomposition, and scheme design, able to quickly capture business pain points and convert them into product solutions.
