Job Description

Get to know our Team:

The Grab Driver Acquisition and Onboarding Department is responsible for onboarding and recruiting new driver and rider-partners in the platform. This team designs, creates and owns the processes to ensure smooth driver/ rider application experience in the driver onboarding journey and ensure that new riders are setup for success. This team is also responsible for attracting and recruiting new drivers to join Grab and MoveIt via leveraging various channels, campaigns, and avenues to reach potential target audience to join the growing rider base of Grab and MoveIt. You will get a chance to work directly with progressive thinkers with various teams -- operations, marketplace, marketing departments, training, safety, and driver communities to help shape the driver's early lifecycle journey.

Get to know the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team. In the Driver Community Acquistion role, you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting new drivers or riders to join MoveIt or Grab through institutional, B2B, and community partnerships. This position requires a combination of sales, marketing, and the ability to deal with large and diverse stakeholders and community. As part of the team you will identify, craft, coordinate and manage the partnerships with rider communities, private or public institutions to come up with recruitment programs.

You will collaborate closely with driver communities, private institutions (ie. driving schools, etc), LGUs agencies, onboarding team, and public relations team.

Location of the Assignment:

Able to work in office (Marikina) but willing to travel to various parts of PH or Metro Manila to coordinate with communities and partners.

The day-to-day activities include:

  • Institutional Driver Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit new drivers for Grab and MoveIt via partnership programs with private/public institutions as well as driver communities
  • Work closely and efficiently as a team with driver acquisition, operations, driver communities, onboarding teams, and marketing colleagues to ensure successful program implementation
  • Liaise with various vendors, agencies, partner brands and other internal departments for various projects concerning Institutional partnerships
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with driver communities and potential drivers, LGUs, private/ public partnerships to ensure recruitment targets are met
  • Other duties as assigned by the Driver Acquisition and Onboarding leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, field sales, channel sales, recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, community, and people networks for recruitment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft/Google productivity tools.
  • Must be knowledgeable about transport, cars and the automotive and transport industry, preferably knows how to drive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in speaking, writing in both Filipino and English language
  • Comfortable to work on multiple projects and has an agile mindset to adapt to our fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity (i.e. receiving 'blank sheet of paper' assignments.
  • You are intellectually curious, highly analytical and able to problem solve, think & debate strategically
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills. Proactive and self-starters, and has a high degree of personal responsibility. Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Handle themselves in a pleasant, personable manner (in-person, phone, and email)
