So, what's the job?

We’re seeking an exceptional Cyber Security Data Analyst to join our team of security experts. In this critical role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to safeguard our users and maintain the integrity of our systems.

You will:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threat intelligence from diverse sources to uncover actionable insights on emerging cyber threats and attack patterns
• Develop and manage sophisticated threat intelligence rules and monitoring systems
• Monitor and automate detection processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Research, Data Science, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance threat detection capabilities and contribute to company-wide security initiatives
• Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching and integrating the latest cybersecurity trends, threat actor behaviors, and attack methodologies

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in complex data analysis using SQL (BigQuery experience preferred)
• Expertise in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries
• Understanding of the web cybersecurity landscape, including common vulnerabilities and attack surfaces
• Strong grasp of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, DNS, HTML, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, ability to extract insights from large datasets and to tackle complex cybersecurity challenges
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in data visualization tools (Plus - retool, looker)
