The Role

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for owning our relationships with our external partners within the teamwear channel in UK&I.

You will demonstrate the ability to grow our teamwear channel profitably and sustainably by growing existing business as well as identifying new business opportunities and converting them to be Castore teams through our various routes to market and channels of focus.

Reporting in to the Head of Commercial – Teamwear, you will play a crucial role in the shaping and delivery of our teamwear commercial strategy through collaboration with cross functional teams within and beyond the teamwear business unit.

This role can be remote but regular travel to Leeds and Manchester is required

Responsibilities

·Be the face of Castore Teamwear to our partners and customers

·Develop and manage outstanding relationships with our customers by understanding their needs and creating solutions and propositions to drive sustainable and profitable growth

·Be the internal voice of the customer across a matrix of functions to ensure that we are creating propositions that meet the needs of our customers

·Oversee the end to end sales process for your customers, working closely with ops teams to ensure world class customer service including order book and PO management

·Develop a growth strategy for your designated channels and accounts to grow existing business and identify new business opportunities

·Work closely with the marketing and e-Commerce team to develop an activation plan to drive awareness and conversion of Castore Teamwear

·Attend external meetings and industry events to drive awareness and lead generation of Castore Teamwear

·Deliver against budgeted sales and margin targets and report regularly on progress against these targets

·Be visible and available to our partners as their main point of contact as well as an ambassador of Castore

·Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Commercial – Teamwear to enable data led decision-making

Skills & Experience

Skills and Experience:

·5 plus years experience of account management within the sports industry and teamsports specific is preferred

·Outstanding customer management experience with a proven track record of delivering commercial results

·A deep understanding of the teamwear and teamsports industry

·Ability to uncover stakeholder needs and match solutions with these needs that creates value for both parties

·Excellent communication skills are essential with experience in presenting internally and externally up to senior management level

·A proven ability to work as part of a team within and beyond reporting lines in order to deliver results that align to the objectives of the organisation

Personal Qualities:

·A passion for delivering first class customer service

·Ability to travel to Leeds and Manchester

·A passion for teamsports and desire to understand the needs of consumers and customers within the teamwear market

·Requires excellent interpersonal skills, must be approachable, personable with a positive attitude, willing to help and provide support as needed

·Excellent communicator with an ability to present complex ideas in a simple to understand manner clearly, concisely, and accurately to both internal and external stakeholders

·Able to make decisions on work issues that impact the successful completion of tasks.

·Ability to analyse data, insights and trends and use as a basis to solve problems.
