Software Quality Engineer

Role Summary
The Quality Engineer ensures product reliability through test execution, automation support, and validation of AI generated tests. They collaborate with Spec QA and Engineering to ensure features meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Use spec-driven tools to validate AI-generated tests with scenarios
Including UI, API, data layer, service, integration, and performance tests
Ensure test cases trace cleanly back to specifications
Identify defects and collaborate with Engineering on resolution
Support test data creation and scenario validation
Participate in sprint planning and story refinement
Collaborate with Engineering and Spec QA on release readiness based on risk
Qualifications
Experience in software QA test automation, including mobile and/or web, SQL, API, UI, and performance.
Understanding of risk-based test design and defect analysis
Familiarity with automation frameworks and design patterns
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or relevant field.
