We are seeking a Product Manager Intern to join a small, highly collaborative Product Management team supporting a portfolio of enterprise digital products.
This role offers direct exposure to Product leadership and hands-on experience across multiple products and initiatives. As part of a lean team, you’ll work closely with the Director of Product Management and a Technical Product Manager to support requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, and product delivery.
You’ll work across initiatives ranging from internal platforms to business-facing tools, gaining a broad view of how products are built and scaled within an enterprise environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to learn how product teams operate across different problem spaces while contributing meaningfully from day one.
What You’ll Do
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Partner with Product Management team to gather and document business and user requirements across multiple products
- Translate stakeholder input into structured user stories and acceptance criteria
- Maintain clear and organized product documentation across initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Support coordination across Product, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders
- Capture key decisions, track action items, and ensure follow-through
- Help identify gaps, dependencies, and areas needing clarification
Product Lifecycle Support
- Assist with backlog management, sprint preparation, and prioritization discussions
- Track progress across multiple workstreams and help ensure alignment during development
- Support QA and validation to confirm features meet requirements
- Help gather and synthesize post-launch feedback
Cross-Product & Operational Support
- Contribute to multiple initiatives simultaneously, gaining exposure to different product areas
- Assist with preparing stakeholder updates, roadmaps, and product materials
- Support lightweight analysis of product usage, trends, or feedback
- Help improve team processes and documentation standards

What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in Product Management and digital product development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and ask thoughtful questions
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
- Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar is a plus
- Analytical mindset; exposure to data or metrics is a bonus

The internship will run from June 1, 2026-August 14, 2026, up to 35 hours per week.
In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York City, is $20.00 per hour. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York City. If this role is open to candidates outside of New York City, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
