Zynx Health is seeking a Clinical Content Specialist to join our Clinical Content department.
The Clinical Content Specialist plays a pivotal role within our Clinical Content department, a team of clinicians and editors focused on developing actionable, evidence-based tools that improve patient outcomes across care settings. This role requires clinical expertise, familiarity with healthcare technology (especially EHRs), and the ability to translate complex clinical evidence into usable, high-impact tools.
This position will be 100% remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Clinical evidence analysis & content development
Analyze and synthesize clinical research and practice guidelines to inform content development.
Create and maintain concise, evidence-based summaries grounded in the latest clinical literature.
Design and update clinical decision support content—including protocols, order sets, care plans, documentation templates, flowsheets, and care pathways—within our content management system.

Develop innovative clinical content to support high-quality patient care, aligned with current standards and best practices.
2. Client engagement & support
Respond promptly and expertly to client questions and content-related feedback.
Participate in client-facing activities, including presentations, product demonstrations, and implementation support.

Assist in onboarding and educating clients on clinical content use and best practices.
3. Cross-functional collaboration & strategy
Partner with teams across the organization, including product, implementation, sales, and clinical leadership, to enhance content quality, consistency, and usability.
Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving content effectiveness and aligning with company objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in nursing or a healthcare-related field required.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner.
At least 2 years of experience developing or managing clinical decision support content integrated into workflows.
Strong knowledge of clinical informatics and clinical decision support systems (e.g., order sets, templates, protocols).
Experience with EHRs, CPOE, and care management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Familiarity with evidence-based medicine, quality measures, and healthcare regulatory standards.
Familiarity with ontology, UMLS, SNOMED CT, or other clinical coding systems.

Travel and client-facing activities required:
Travel: Up to 10% for conferences, company and client meetings, and training sessions.
Client Interactions: Up to 30% involvement in sales, renewal, or implementation calls that may not be directly related to content development or optimization.

In accordance with applicable law, Zynx is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in Los Angeles, CA. The reasonable estimate, if hired in Los Angeles, is $114,000 - $135,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
