The position combines strategic sales, and hands-on execution, acting as the primary face of Innoviz in Japan, driving long-term partnerships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and new market segments
This is a high-autonomy role suited for a senior Sales Leader who is motivated to build and lead a market independently, while coordinating closely with executives, R&D, and product teams.

The position combines strategic sales, and hands-on execution, acting as the primary face of Innoviz in Japan, driving long-term partnerships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and new market segments
This is a high-autonomy role suited for a senior Sales Leader who is motivated to build and lead a market independently, while coordinating closely with executives, R&D, and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop Innoviz’s commercial footprint in Japan, operating independently from a home office
- Own the full sales lifecycle with Japanese OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Develop & maintain executive-level relationships within automotive accounts
- Develop opportunities in additional LiDAR markets including: Industrial automation, Robotics, Drones, Security, Agriculture
- Build partnerships and distribution channels in non-automotive sectors
- Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, and product demonstrations across Japan
- Travel periodically to South Korea and other APAC markets as needed
- Coordinate roadshows, conferences, and executive meetings
- 10+ years of experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 business development
- Proven track record of closing complex, long-cycle automotive deals in Japan
- Strong network within Japanese OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers
- Experience working with advanced technology products (hardware, sensors, ADAS, semiconductor, etc.)
- Fluent Japanese and English
- Based in Japan (Tokyo area)
