This internship is designed for students eager to explore careers in med‑tech, medical devices, commercial operations, training, or life sciences.

Position Overview

The Commercial Training Intern will support both employee training and customer education initiatives across the global commercial organization. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with cross functional teams, including marketing, sales, clinical applications, and medical affairs—while contributing to meaningful education and training programs that directly support INSIGHTEC’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Commercial Training team on a variety of projects, including but not limited to:

Training Content & Program Support

  • Assist in the development, formatting, and updating of training materials, presentations, and job aids
  • Help maintain and organize content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support the creation of educational resources and onboarding materials

Speaker & Faculty Management

  • Research and compile speaker profiles, CVs, and background information for training events
  • Assist with speaker contracting processes, documentation, and tracking
  • Maintain databases of faculty, training participants, and event history

Data & Process Management

  • Update and maintain training databases, dashboards, and tracking tools
  • Support data collection and reporting for training metrics and program evaluations
  • Help streamline internal processes and documentation to improve team efficiency

Event & Logistics Support

  • Assist with planning and coordination of internal training sessions, customer workshops, and virtual learning events
  • Prepare materials, agendas, and follow-up documentation
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of training activities

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, sales, and clinical teams to gather information and align training needs
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews
  • Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance training programs

Education

  • Currently enrolled as a rising Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in an accredited college or university. Majors may include, Business, Marketing, Communications, Biology, Neuroscience, Pre‑Med, Biomedical Sciences, Other life sciences or related fields

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable taking direction and running with tasks to completion
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with multiple teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with SharePoint or LMS platforms is a plus
  • Interest in the medical device or med‑tech industry
