Purpose: The Regional Sales Lead role is responsible for developing and managing the Surgery business across the Lombardia Region. The position includes leading a team composed of direct reports and agents, with the objective of achieving commercial targets, ensuring effective territorial coverage, and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders in the sector.
You will be responsible for:
Deliver annual sales targets, ensuring consistent business growth within the assigned Region.
Execute the action plan with strong strategic alignment to Franchise and Business Unit objectives.
Reaches Commercial Excellence and Operational KPIs and targets
Directly manages Area KOLS and Stakeholders, strengthening clinical and commercial relationships.
Reaches Tender success targets by implementing successful value creation strategies and tactics
Lead and manage a team of direct employees, trade agents, and distributors.
Managing the entire J&J Endo/Energy portfolio in Lombardia Region.
Shape the future of the business area by driving innovation and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure excellence in execution and strong business results.
Lead development of Area implementation plans, activities, and next steps required to close key opportunities
Make data driven decisions to optimize performance and resource allocation within the region.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree required; a background in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Sales and Marketing experience within the medical device market strongly desired.
General Surgery expertise is considered a plus.
Home location: within Lombardia Region.
Italian native speaker, with advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Proven track record of success in a matrixed organization, demonstrating enterprise minded decision making.
Excellent understanding of customer needs, business intelligence, and industry trends.
Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and project management.
Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret metrics and performance drivers.
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, paired with strong organizational abilities and the capability to deliver high impact sales presentations.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate, influence, and provide comprehensive, customer focused solutions.
Strong problem solving, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to design, structure, and lead complex projects.
