Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Warehouse Transformation – Test Scripts owns the design, execution, and validation of warehouse management system (WMS) and operational process test scripts supporting distribution center transformation, change adoption, and operational stabilization. This role ensures that system changes and process updates are fully tested, operationally sound, and ready for release without disrupting live execution.

The role operates at the intersection of warehouse operations, inventory control, order management, and technology, providing deep functional expertise to validate end‑to‑end warehouse scenarios prior to release and to support stabilization following changes. This position emphasizes discipline, rigor, and end‑to‑end validation, rather than project ownership or people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain end‑to‑end warehouse test scripts covering inbound, outbound, inventory, exception handling, and supporting processes.

  • Ensure test scenarios reflect real‑world execution, edge cases, and customer‑critical flows.

  • Maintain traceability between business requirements, test scripts, and execution outcomes.

  • Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing for WMS and process changes.

  • Validate that system behavior, process flows, and data outputs meet operational requirements.

  • Identify gaps between expected and actual outcomes and document findings clearly.

  • Document defects, execution gaps, and process issues with sufficient detail to support remediation.

  • Coordinate with Technology, Inventory, Warehouse Operations, and Transportation teams to validate fixes.

  • Re‑test corrected functionality to confirm resolution prior to release.

  • Validate process readiness prior to system or process releases, ensuring warehouse teams can execute as designed.

  • Support post‑release stabilization and hyper care, validating that issues are resolved and operations return to steady‑state performance.

  • Provide rapid feedback on execution impacts observed during stabilization periods.

  • Identify recurring testing gaps or execution risks and recommend improvements to test coverage and methodology.

  • Document lessons learned and contribute to improved testing standards and warehouse readiness practices.

  • Serve as a subject‑matter resource for warehouse process validation and testing discipline.

Key Outputs / Success Measures

  • Stable and reliable system and process releases

  • Comprehensive, high‑quality test coverage across warehouse scenarios

  • Reduced post‑release operational disruption

  • Clear, actionable defect documentation and resolution tracking

  • Improved operational readiness for system and process changes

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, order management, or WMS‑enabled distribution environments.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing warehouse process and system test scripts.

  • Strong working knowledge of WMS functionality across inbound, outbound, inventory, and exception flows.

  • Proven ability to execute structured testing, document results, and validate outcomes end‑to‑end.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify execution gaps and process risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing in a warehouse environment.

  • Experience working closely with IT or system integrators during system or process changes.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills related to warehouse execution and system behavior.

  • Exposure to Lean / Continuous Improvement practices in a distribution or fulfillment environment.
