Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer (Board Design & BSP), A hands-on role for an engineer who can both create new hardware platforms and support their successful integration into complex embedded systems.
You will be responsible for the design, development, bring-up, testing, and debugging of Juganu custom boards and embedded hardware platforms. This role combines strong hardware design capabilities with hands-on experience in board bring-up, validation, and hardware-software integration.
A key part of the role is working on custom boards that integrate AI modules, network modules, and lighting modules, supporting Juganu’s smart infrastructure solutions. The engineer will take part in the full hardware lifecycle, from architecture and schematic design through board validation and troubleshooting in real systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing new boards, reviewing and improving existing designs, circuit design, component selection, board bring-up, interface validation, debugging, and system-level troubleshooting. The role also requires close collaboration with embedded software/BSP, mechanical, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure reliable integration, manufacturability, performance, and product quality.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in hardware development, custom board design, bring-up, or embedded hardware engineering
• Strong expertise in circuit design, electronics hardware design, and board-level debugging
• Ability to design new boards and support existing platforms through validation, integration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hardware systems integrating AI modules, networking modules, and lighting-related modules
• Experience collaborating with embedded / BSP / low-level software teams on hardware-software integration
• Experience with component selection, interface validation, and system-level troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on engineering mindset
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of electricity / power-related systems is an advantage
• RF knowledge is an advantage, especially experience with Wi-Fi-based systems
• Familiarity with hardware development best practices and industry standards is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
