LEDGE'S MISSION is to reinvent how finance teams work by building AI agents that actually do the work, not just automate it.

We began with an industry-leading reconciliation platform used by top finance teams. We are now broadening our scope to develop a completely AI-native close management solution, built upon our strong existing platform that is already competitive with leading industry offerings. Our agents autonomously prepare, reconcile, validate, and manage the close end-to-end with finance-grade accuracy and transparency. We're designing new tools for the Office of the CFO: a scalable, trustworthy data pipeline combined with autonomous AI workflows and a clean, consumer-grade experience.

The Role

About the Role

We’re hiring an Account Executive to help scale Ledge’s go-to-market. You’ll close deals, but you’ll also shape how we sell: messaging, discovery, proof-of-value, pricing feedback loops, and the repeatable playbook that future AEs will inherit.

You’ll run deals end-to-end with a consultative, no-BS approach that resonates with Controllers and CFOs. You’ll operate with high autonomy, work directly with the founders, and help define what “great” looks like in sales at Ledge.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: discovery → demo → proof-of-value → close

  • Lead structured discovery with finance teams; translate workflows and pain into a crisp solution narrative

  • Partner closely with solutions and product to run proofs-of-value using real customer data

  • Create signal from the chaos: maintain clean Hubspot hygiene, run your pipeline, and forecast responsibly

  • Be the voice of the customer internally: what’s landing, what’s not, and why

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with a track record of carrying and hitting quota operating independently in ambiguity (early-stage energy required)

  • Proven ability to convert pipeline and win deals

  • Comfortable selling a new category / new product where the playbook is still being written

  • Credible with finance buyers (Controller/CFO) - experience selling into accounting/finance is a plus, not a must

  • You’re excited to sell mid-market (not massive $250k+ enterprise contracts) and you know how to run a rigorous process

  • Great communicator: crisp, curious, structured, and confident without being “salesy”
