Our Purpose

The Senior Reliability and Field Engineering Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Product Engineering, New Product Support, and Product Reliability across the semiconductor automated test equipment product lifecycle. This role aligns product introduction, factory readiness, sustaining engineering, installed-base support, and reliability improvement under one accountable organization to improve product quality, system availability, customer outcomes, and execution predictability. The Director will lead global managers, technical leaders, and engineering teams while partnering across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Global Services, Sales, Applications, Finance, Planning, and executive leadership.

  • Lead the strategy, operating model, priorities, and resource plan for Product Engineering, New Product Support, and Product Reliability.
  • Develop managers, technical leads, product engineers, support engineers, and reliability professionals across global locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure product readiness, manufacturability, serviceability, documentation, test coverage, supply readiness, and support readiness.
  • Build scalable processes, metrics, escalation paths, technical reviews, and knowledge management practices across global teams.
  • Support strategic customer deployments, critical escalations, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and reliability improvement programs.
  • Partner with executive leadership to communicate performance, risk, resource needs, launch readiness, and mitigation plans.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, electronics, complex capital equipment, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Significant leadership experience across Product Engineering, New Product Introduction, Sustaining Engineering, Product Support, Reliability Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Customer Service Engineering.
  • Experience leading managers and globally distributed technical organizations through complex product launches, escalations, and reliability improvement programs.
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing, customer installations, installed-base operations, and executive-level technical reviews.
  • Strong technical judgment across hardware, software, diagnostics, manufacturing processes, mechanical interfaces, field performance, and reliability data.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational data into priorities, decisions, investment plans, and measurable results.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, customer focus, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop leadership talent while fostering inclusive, high-performing global teams.
  • Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor automated test equipment and test-cell integration strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel globally based on business and customer requirements.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $332,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
