What role will you play?
This 3-month Technology Internship Program includes a structured induction, on-the-job training and learning opportunities. In this role, you will be part of a global team where you will be empowered to contribute to impactful work within a collaborative environment. To help you get the most out of your internship, we will match you with an area that aligns with your skills and interests. Role assignments are determined by our team to ensure the best fit for both you and our business.

Macquarie Capital (MacCap) technology teams
MacCap delivers financial advisory and investment solutions across infrastructure, energy, and technology sectors, with technology teams driving innovation and efficiency in deal execution. Interns will support in the development of technology solutions which help deliver impactful projects for clients globally. As a technology intern, you’ll be part of Macquarie’s Central Operations Group (COG) aligned to Macquarie Capital.
Banking and Financial Services (BFS) technology teams
BFS provides retail and business banking products, with technology teams powering secure, user-friendly digital platforms for customers. Interns will contribute to building and improving digital banking platforms, gaining hands-on experience in delivering seamless banking experience for our customers.
What you offer
- Currently in your penultimate or final year of study with a mandatory internship requirement as part of your curriculum; amenable to commit to at least 480 hours or 3 months of internship
- Currently studying computer science, information technology, or other related technology degree program with basic understanding of software engineering, quality assurance (QA), or DevOps/Cloud engineering
- A learning mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to execution and delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge in Java
