The CGM EDT Equity Finance desk supports equity swap bookings with clients who are looking to transact on a low or high touch swap execution basis. To support the forecasted growth of the equity swap flow business, we are seeking for a collaborative and ambitious java developer to help build out the new platform.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining applications that support our business operations, leveraging low latency java technologies. You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

What you offer

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language;
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle;
• Experience with data caching technologies (eg Hazelcast);
• Experience with Unix, shell scripting is a plus and will be preferred;
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git); and
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
