The Records and Collaboration team within the Macquarie Asset Management business is responsible for developing and maintaining digital tools and platforms that facilitate communication and collaboration among team members across the business’s global operating locations. We ensure that these tools are secure, user-friendly, and integrated with other business systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.

What role will you play?

As the Technical Lead for the Records and Collaboration team, you will lead a small team of engineers and serve as the subject matter expert for all things related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Working closely with the Group Data Officer, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end solution design and delivery, ensuring governance, scalability, and performance across enterprise platforms.
In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of SharePoint and Power Platform technologies, driving digital transformation and enhancing collaboration across our organisation.

What you offer

  • Extensive experience with SharePoint Online development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with senior business stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (e.g. Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Office 365 integration
  • Proven background in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Expertise in SQL Server or other database technologies
  • Understanding of modern authentication protocols (Entra ID, OAuth etc)
  • Experience leading small global teams.
