As a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer, you will join our DevOps team, which supports Equity Derivatives Middle office (EDT MOD) platforms at Macquarie which provides middle office functionalities to our global business operations team.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders and analysts to define requirements and support the team in coding, testing, deployments, and upgrades. You will also engage in production support, working directly with users to maintain system stability and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will deliver platform enhancements, build strong cross functional relationships, and serve as a subject matter expert while upholding high quality, standard, and professionalism.

What you offer

• 7 to 9 years of relevant hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of AWS.
• Strong SQL and database experience, preferably Postgres.
• Strong experience with message-based business integration.
• Knowledge of Python and Financial domain is plus.
