Our Compliance team within the Risk Management Group partners closely with the Commodities and Global Markets business to ensure regulatory obligations are clearly understood and effectively managed. Working within Futures Compliance, you will be part of a collaborative team that supports the Futures Execution and Clearing businesses, helping them operate with confidence in a complex regulatory environment.

What role will you play?

As a Compliance Manager, you will provide practical compliance and regulatory advice to our Futures Execution and Futures Clearing businesses. You will assess regulatory risks, partner with business and risk stakeholders to address compliance matters, and contribute to effective risk management outcomes. Acting as a key representative for Compliance, you will build strong relationships across internal stakeholders, committees, and industry bodies. Your ability to interpret regulations and deliver clear, balanced advice will be central to supporting a dynamic and fast-evolving business.

  • A sound understanding of financial markets, particularly listed markets, with knowledge or experience in futures products
  • A solution-focused approach with strong commercial awareness and an interest in applying complex regulatory requirements in a practical way
  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including presenting advice to senior stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
