What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager in the Risk Culture team, you will apply your understanding of human behaviour to assess and enhance how risk is managed across the organisation. You will generate and interpret behavioural insights, contribute to the design and continuous improvement of frameworks and initiatives, and provide clear reporting to senior leadership and Boards. Your work will help strengthen risk culture and support informed decision-making in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you offer

  • Experience or academic background in human behaviour, such as psychology or behavioural science, with knowledge of financial services or regulation considered advantageous
  • Experience conducting behavioural or cultural assessments, including interviews and focus groups to gather qualitative insights
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences
  • High attention to detail, with experience working with both qualitative and quantitative indicators to monitor and report on culture
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage priorities, build effective relationships, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
