Help shape and strengthen the risk culture that enables our Business Services Division, which comprises of Resilience, Procurement and Corporate Real Estate teams, to deliver with confidence across the region. As a Line 1 Risk leader, you will play a key role in helping senior stakeholders identify, understand and manage their non-financial risks while supporting business growth, operational excellence and sound decision-making.

Reporting to the Regional Head of Corporate Operations Group Non-Financial Risk, you will act as a trusted Risk partner to the Business Services Division leadership team, helping to embed effective risk management within day-to-day business activities. You will provide advice and challenge across a broad range of non-financial risks, support risk-informed decision-making, assess processes and controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen organisational resilience. Working closely with your aligned stakeholders and the broader Macquarie, you will help ensure risks are understood, managed and escalated appropriately, while fostering a strong and proactive risk culture.

What you offer

  • Experience in an Operational Risk or related risk management role within a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and governance, with the ability to identify, assess and manage non-financial risks
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while building high quality trusted relationships across diverse teams
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex risk matters into clear and practical outcomes
  • Experience in operational resilience, supplier risk, Workplace Health and Safety, real estate or related regulatory environments would be beneficial
