Join our Distribution Governance team, a dynamic area that is focused on identifying and managing risks associated with the distribution of financial services product. Our team has a particular focus on Macquarie’s broker channel, this role will provide exciting opportunities for you to work closely with various teams in the ecosystem, senior stakeholders and our distribution partners to embed strong risk management practices.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support the oversight and assurance of third-party distribution partners, including brokers and aggregators, through data analysis, monitoring and risk-based investigations. You will conduct periodic assurance reviews, engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements, prepare management reporting, and maintain key policies, frameworks and procedures. Additionally, you will lead deep-dive reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of initiatives that strengthen risk management and operational effectiveness.

What you offer

  • Demonstrable experience working with Home and/or Business Lending Products
  • Strong risk and compliance mindset and a basic understanding of key regulatory and legislative requirements in the financial services industry
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business terms
  • Strong problem-solving skills to create innovative solutions and recommendations to meet business needs
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage deadlines independently and a keen interest in operating with agile ways of working.
