We are addressing one of today’s most critical global health concerns – the rise of antibiotics resistant bacteria (www.me-med.com).Who are we looking for?We are seeking a motivated Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) who is responsible for launching new hospitals and organic growth of installed base of hospitals. The CAS will also be responsible for providing on-going medical education to physicians and clinical staff using clinical information as the foundation for growth. The candidate will be joining a newly formed implementation team within the organization focused on growing the install base and utilization. We are dedicated to building the foundations for a world-class customer experience and making MeMed BV a trusted name in infectious disease diagnostics. This position is highly clinical in nature with some technical aspects. We’re seeking a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and eager to take ownership across a variety of responsibilities.Primary Job Responsibilities:General- Provide an excellent customer experience through customer implementations in collaboration with sales, stellar on-site support facilitating customer inquiries, managing case resolutions and providing internal teams with feedback on field activities. This role is 80% focused on clinical account management (driving growth, physician education, and implementation strategy), and 20% on field application support (technical installs, training, troubleshooting, workflow optimization).Key Responsibilities- Expand use of MeMed products to current acute care centers, freestanding emergency hospitals, and Urgent Care Clinics within existing customer base- Conduct clinical training and educational sessions for physicians, NPs, nurses, and other stakeholders.- Partner with clinicians to identify and establish order sets, and/or protocols for MeMed products- Build advocacy and champions within facilities. Use hospital data to validate and build interest.- Develop clinical champions and site advocates through data sharing and peer education.- Support hospital teams with clinical protocol design and workflow integration.- Present and discuss patient case studies to promote evidence-based adoption.- Leverage Salesforce to track progress, submit reports, and align activities with internal teams, maintain CRM records on a timely basis- Assist in implementation planning, site prep, and post-installation support in collaboration with service teams.- Support occasional on-site installations, supporting the full implementation process from pre-install prep to post go-live support- Troubleshoot technical issues remotely or in-person and escalate when necessary.- Assist in product validation, install coordination, and post-launch follow-ups.- Escalate product and/or customer issues as needed- Interact with sales, technical service, QA/RA, and marketing on a regular basisSkills and Competencies:- 3+ years of experience and proven track record in a similar role in the medical device industry, hospital-based, emergency medicine, or diagnostics- Strong knowledge in infectious diseases – preferred- Background as a nurse, application specialist, or clinical – strongly preferred- Familiar with CRM processes and improvements (salesforce)- Prior field experience supporting customers in a highly technical field preferred- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills- Comfort discussing clinical workflows, biomarker science, technical support, or diagnostics with a range of audiences- Familiar with hospital laboratory practices, CAP, CLIA, FDA, HIPAA and IQCP requirements – preferred- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment- Technical degree in biology, or related field preferredLocation & Travel:This position involves extensive US Travel- up to 75%Why Join Us- Be part of a purpose-driven company revolutionizing diagnostic decision-making.- Play a multifaceted role where strategy meets hands-on clinical support.- Help clinicians deliver faster, more accurate care through smarter testing.- Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team with room to grow.MeMed is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
