Description
We’re on the hunt for a Head of Agency Partnerships. A senior diplomat who gets Overwolf onto preferred vendor lists before RFPs are written and negotiates the committed spend agreements that create always-on revenue. The role provides air cover for our sellers — clearing political drama, building trust at the holding company level, and making Overwolf a strategic partner before any brief hits the market.
Responsibilities
- Sign global MSAs with Publicis, WPP, and dentsu, sequenced by spend, US market is first priority
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across target holdcos and trade desks
- Get Overwolf written into gaming media plans before briefs go wide
- Clear trade desk barriers at the relationship level: IVT flags, brand safety, programmatic onboarding, at Zenith, GroupM Nexus, and Carat
- Position Overwolf as a strategic gaming partner, not a transactional media vendor
- Own the holdco view: track spend concentration, pipeline risk, and white space across each holding company; report to the CRO monthly
- Provide air cover for sellers: absorb political drama, escalations, and brand safety concerns so the BP team stays focused on closing
Requirements
- 12+ years in agency, media, or publisher roles
- Direct relationships at MD or Investment Lead level inside Big 6 holdcos
- Proven track record of signing or renewing MSAs with global agencies
- Experience clearing trade desk barriers (IVT, brand safety, programmatic onboarding)
- Ability to use AI-powered intelligence platforms for relationship & market insights
- Proficiency: Salesforce, MediaRadar/Pathmatics, ComScore, SellerCrowd, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Working knowledge of programmatic platforms: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP
- Willingness and ability to travel: NYC, Chicago, London, agency on-sites
