About the Role
The Marketing AI Enablement Lead is a newly created role responsible for turning AI strategy into coordinated, high-impact execution across Salesforce Marketing. This role sits at the center of prioritization, sequencing, communication, and rollout, ensuring AI capabilities are introduced in the right order, to the right audiences, with the clarity and support required to drive adoption and impact. You bring structure to complexity—translating a wide range of ideas, inputs, and initiatives into a focused, executable plan the organization can absorb and act on.
Working in close partnership with the Marketing AI Capabilities Lead and cross-functional stakeholders, you ensure momentum is sustained from idea to launch to adoption. This role is about making AI land at scale—aligning teams, accelerating time to impact, and ensuring innovation shows up consistently across Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
AI Initiative Prioritization & Planning
- Partner with internal teams including Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Product Marketing to lead the AI Marketing Centre of Excellence and surface business requirements, opportunities, and needs.
- Assess and prioritize initiatives based on impact, readiness, dependencies, and organizational capacity.
- Translate inputs into a clear, prioritized and sequenced roadmap that balances ambition with focus
- Lead roll out plan for existing AI capabilities and including determining the types of support that are needed to drive adoption and impact across training, custom agent/GPT implementation, and change management initiatives
Executive & Internal Communications
- Own the internal and executive communication strategy for AI initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent visibility into priorities, progress, outcomes, and next steps.
- Translate complex, multi-workstream efforts into concise narratives that build confidence, alignment, and momentum with senior leadership.
- Establish regular communication cadences and artifacts that keep stakeholders informed and engaged at the right elevations.
Rollout Planning & Adoption Strategy
- Own rollout planning for cross-marketing AI capabilities, including phasing, piloting, sequencing, and readiness.
- Define how capabilities are introduced, communicated, and scaled across teams, partner with the Office of the CMO and internal enablement teams to deliver a coordinated approach.
- Partner with the Marketing AI Capabilities Lead to determine when existing capabilities can meet the needs of the business and when new capabilities need to be built
- Ensure launches and rollouts are intentional, coordinated, and supported.
Cross-Team Orchestration & Alignment
- Act as the connective thread across teams to align timelines, dependencies, and expectations.
- Integrate inputs and requirements from multiple teams into cohesive execution plans.
- Identify and proactively resolve gaps, overlaps, and friction points across initiatives.
Change Management & Adoption Execution
- Lead the change management approach for AI initiatives—ensuring teams understand what’s changing, why it matters, and how to engage.
- Partner with Marketing AI Capabilities lead to monitor adoption signals and feedback, adjusting rollout plans to improve uptake and effectiveness.Partner on enablement plans that support sustained adoption, not just initial awareness.
Execution Governance & Progress Tracking
- Establish lightweight governance to track progress, manage dependencies, and maintain accountability across workstreams.
- Manage and optimize vendor relationships including scoping projects, owning contracts, and maximizing the impact of vendor resources including post-sales implementation support
- Create visibility into milestones, risks, and outcomes to support informed decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- 7-10+ years in marketing, marketing operations, project management or similar roles in complex, matrixed organizations
- Proven ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to ambiguous, fast-evolving initiatives
- Strong experience leading cross-functional programs from prioritization through rollout and adoption
- Deep understanding of how change actually lands inside organizations
- Comfort making trade-offs and sequencing work to maximize impact
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior leadership
- A systems thinker who enjoys orchestrating progress and enabling others to succeed
