Description
What You’ll Be Doing:
Execute Technical Advisories: Lead formal multi week "Guided Consumption" engagements, providing over-the-shoulder guidance to move agents from sandbox to production. You will hold weekly working sessions to clear technical hurdles and maintain momentum.
Hands-on Configuration & Debugging: You won't just talk; you will build. You will troubleshoot complex issues—such as non-functional web crawlers, RAG retrieval failures, and Data Cloud governance policies—to restore technical trust.
Empower the "Doer": A core part of your role is "Gap-Filling Advisory." You will work directly with the customer’s internal "doer" (Admin/Developer), teaching them how to configure prompts, debug actions, and utilize Agentforce Analytics so they can maintain the solution independently.
Drive Activation (Launchpad): You will lead rapid "Launchpad" engagements for customers who don't know where to start, conducting hands-on workshops to build foundational confidence and their first functional use case.
Unlock Consumption: You will identify and resolve specific technical bottlenecks (e.g., ADL access issues, instruction refinement) that are preventing an account from consuming credits, directly influencing NCR growth.
Who You Are:
Action-Biased: You prioritize "breaking things fast" over paralysis. You are comfortable pivoting a customer from a complex to a simpler, high-value quick win to prove ROI.
Deeply Technical: You have hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Cloud, Flow, and AI configuration. You understand how to set up Data Libraries, configure retrievers, and refine agent instructions to stop hallucinations.
An Educator: You derive satisfaction from upskilling others. You don't just fix the problem; you teach the customer how you fixed it, ensuring they don't "spin their wheels" after you leave.
Resilient Troubleshooter: You thrive in "Ad-hoc Rescue" situations where a project is stalled or abandoned. You can step into a chaotic environment, identify the blocker (technical or knowledge-based), and get the project moving again.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Implementation.
Proven experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ingestion, modeling, harmonizing), Agentforce, Flow Builder.
Experience configuring AI agents, chatbots, or similar conversational interfaces.
Ability to run a "Build Your Agent" Hackathon or similar hands-on workshop.
For roles in San Francisco and Los Angeles: Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
