Check Point Software Technologies is looking for a motivated System Administrator to support and maintain our IT infrastructure across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware virtualization, networking technologies, and enterprise on-premise systems. This role requires a highly responsible, proactive individual capable of taking ownership of the IT infrastructure in regional offices, supporting remote sites, resolving technical issues, maintain systems, perform hardware deployments and travel to EMEA offices as needed for on-site support, maintenance, and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation and maintenance of Corporate IT Infrastructure across EMEA region.
  • Ensure availability and uptime of IT infrastructure, network connectivity, and related services in accordance with SLAs.
  • Planning and Implementation of global corporate IT projects.
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts, vCenters, and virtualized server environments.
  • Provide operational support for on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Support LAN/WAN/Wireless networks, including routing, and switching components in EMEA offices.
  • Perform periodic on-site visits to remote offices for hardware installations, upgrades, audits, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including patching and compliance.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and cross-regional infrastructure initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to align standards and support documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, licenses, and infrastructure components.
  • Manage and maintaining physical hardware servers (HPE, Dell, Lenovo) backup and storage systems.
  • Optimize hardware and software to support VMware integration.
  • Participate in on-duty shifts to support 24 x 7 critical production systems.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of experience as System Administrator in global companies.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with large VMware vSphere environments (installation, configuration, and management..
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience as a system administrator with large scale compute environment.
  • Experience with one of the storage and backup systems (NetApp, Dell, Veeam, Commvault, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of IT Security and Network infrastructure.( TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
  • Good background in Microsoft environment and products knowledge.
  • Good background in Linux/Unix administration – an advantage.
  • Scripting skills in at least one of automation tool (Ansible/Python/Bash/Perl/PowerShell) – an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details, highly responsible.
  • Able to lead long term projects and keep KPI.
  • Team player, excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer-oriented approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution determination.
  • Fast learner with the ability to research and quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations across EMEA.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
