This is a presales–focused technical role, covering all Check Point pillars including Hybrid Mesh Security, Workspace Security, Exposure Management (CTEM), AI-powered Security, and the full Services catalog.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Sales & Opportunity Development

  • Partner with Services Sales Managers to identify, qualify, and shape services opportunities across APAC.

    • Professional Services (Deployments, Migrations, Optimization etc.)
    • Managed Security Services (MSS / MDR / Managed Firewalls etc.)

Technical PreSales Excellence

  • Conduct deepdive discovery to understand customer environments, exposure gaps, and maturity needs.
  • Develop and deliver customized service architectures, scoping documents, and solution designs aligned to customer requirements and Check Point’s product/service pillars.
  • Lead or support:
    • Technical workshops
    • Solution overviews
    • Presales assessments
    • Technical validation sessions
    • Check Point CTEM value mapping and risk quantification conversations

Scoping, Documentation & Proposal Support

  • Able to create:
    • Statements of Work (SOW)
    • Scope of Work definitions
    • Bills of Materials (where applicable for service-supported solutions)
    • Project charters and technical architectures
    • RFI/RFP responses
  • Collaborate with Services Delivery, Product, and MSS teams to ensure accurate, winnable, and deliverable scoping.

Demonstrations, POCs & Value Proof

  • Run or coordinate ProofofConcept engagements demonstrating Service value.
  • Showcase how Check Point’s CTEM, AI-driven prevention, and exposure reduction strategies integrate into services-led outcomes.

Customer Engagement & Advisory

  • Serve as the trusted technical advisor during the entire presales cycle for Services.
  • Provide strategic guidance on service selection, deployment strategy, and longterm customer success.

Evangelism & Enablement

  • Deliver trainings, workshops, seminars, and technical briefings for customers, partners, and internal sales teams.
  • Support enablement for account teams on growing services portfolio (Consulting, PS, PT, MSS).

Market Expertise

  • Stay current with:
    • Emerging cyber threats
    • Exposure Management and CTEM frameworks
    • AI-driven cyber defense methodologies
    • Cloud, hybrid, and workspace security models
    • All Check Point Service offerings and capabilities

Qualifications

Background & Requirements

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, technical consulting, red teaming, professional services, or managed security services.
  • Strong experience positioning services, not just products — ability to articulate business value derived from assessments, consulting, and MSS.
  • Hands-on knowledge of enterprise security architectures, cloud models, and modern threat techniques.

Technical Skills

  • Broad experience across:
    • Penetration testing methodologies (OSSTMM/OWASP/Red Team)
    • Network, cloud, and endpoint security
    • CTEM, risk assessments, and exposure management
    • Managed security operations (SOC, MDR, SIEM, SOAR)
  • Strong understanding of Check Point technologies, or proven ability to ramp quickly in a complex cybersecurity ecosystem will be preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling ability — able to simplify complex topics for executive audiences.
  • Strong problemsolving mindset; capable of creative and pragmatic solutioning.
  • Highly collaborative with both mainstream Sales, Security Engineers (SEs) and the various Services Delivery teams (primarily Consulting, PS & Managed Security Services).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth services environment.

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Industry certifications (OSCP, CISSP, CISM, CCSE, GIAC certifications, etc.) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as business demands.
