Your role in a nutshell
No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales) are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!
Key Responsibilities
Your Role
- Channel Partner Technical Enablement. Engage and Support the enablement of assigned Check Point Channel Partners.
- Execute the Channel Partner Technical Enablement as per the programs provided
- Working closely with our Channel Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our Partner customer’s cyber security needs.
- Assist Channel Partners with insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome.
- Assist Channel Partners with their technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
- Assist Channel Partners with their ability to demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
- Assist Channel Partners with their responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teams
- Active participation in cyber security events
- Keep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with your immediate Manager as well as the Partner Sales Manager..
Qualifications
We are looking for people who:

- Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience
- Have prior experience at a Vendor or Distributor focused on channel pre-sales enablement.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience
- Can demonstrate solid understanding of Network Security principles and experience with Check Point Security Gateways or equivalent vendor solution. Other knowledge of Cyber Security Solutions an advantage.
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs
- Are exposed to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous
- Have a bring a partner first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations
- Have the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment. Capable of incorporating the join value of Check Point and Check Point Partners.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
- As part of a distributed team of people, a strong sense of teamwork is required.
- Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
- Fluent in English - written and verbal
