Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer demand, forecasts, and capacity
• Balance production loads across departments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to support production schedules
• Identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks and adjust schedules accordingly
• Lead scheduling meetings and communicate updates to internal teams and leadership
• Analyze demand changes and adjust plans to maintain on-time delivery performance
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Plex, etc.) to manage scheduling and planning activities
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and production efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR equivalent experience in production planning/scheduling
• 5+ years of scheduling/planning experience in manufacturing
• Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Plex, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory control, and production flow
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
