Position Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Engineer to drive equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
This role blends hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, and engineering support, with a strong focus on electrical systems, controls, and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to improve equipment reliability and uptime across production lines
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
- Support and modify PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) for troubleshooting and process improvements
- Analyze maintenance and production data to identify trends and implement root cause solutions
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Lead or support capital projects (CapEx) including equipment upgrades, installations, and automation improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, OEE improvement)
- Utilize CMMS systems to track work orders, maintenance metrics, and asset performance
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred)
- 3–7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and industrial controls
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Experience with data analysis and maintenance metrics (OEE, downtime tracking, etc.)
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-speed or automated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of SCADA systems or advanced controls
- Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma experience
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, etc.)
