Aegis has partnered with a company that is looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to their team! This role would oversee sales for three counties in the central eastern part of Indiana.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team, supporting residential and business customers. This is an opportunity ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales. The role involves engaging with homeowners, identifying their needs, and recommending products or services that deliver value and long-term satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and company-provided leads
  • Meet with residential customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Deliver clear, compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Accurately document sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics
  • Stay informed on product offerings, pricing, and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale to delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or retail experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable interacting with customers in-person and/or over the phone
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (CRM experience a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license may be required depending on territory

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in residential sales, retail, or customer-facing roles
  • Ability to handle objections and close sales effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
