Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Sterling Heights area that is looking to add an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator to their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong dimensional inspection and metrology experience who wants to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting automotive and aerospace projects.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CMM programs for dimensional inspection

• Perform inspections on sheet metal and machined components

• Create detailed dimensional reports and inspection documentation

• Read and interpret blueprints with strong GD&T understanding

• Support first-piece inspections, calibration, and fixture validation

• Maintain quality and safety standards within the manufacturing environment

✅ Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CMM programming and inspection experience

• Strong PC-DMIS experience REQUIRED

• ATOS/GOM experience strongly preferred

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

• Experience with sheet metal or machined component inspection

• Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
