We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Cloud Engineer (Junior) to support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure platforms that underpin telco-grade digital services. The role includes participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, responding to incidents, executing operational procedures, and supporting service recovery under guidance from senior engineers.

Cloud Operations & Monitoring
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and services to ensure availability, performance, and stability.
- Respond to system alerts and events in accordance with defined on-call procedures.
- Perform initial fault isolation and triage during incidents.
On-Call & Incident Support

Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including after-hours support as required.

Acknowledge on-call alerts within defined SLAs and follow escalation paths.

Execute recovery actions based on approved runbooks and SOPs.
- Provide timely and accurate incident updates to stakeholders.
Incident & Problem Management
- Support incident resolution in line with ITSM processes.
- Accurately log, update, and close incidents in ITSM systems.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and learning activities.
Platform Maintenance
- Perform routine operational tasks such as patching, access reviews, and configuration updates.
- Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery drills.
- Assist with environment provisioning using established automation.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with senior cloud engineers, NOC, and application support teams.
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
- Continuously build cloud and telco operational knowledge.
Alerts & Diagnosis
- Handling alerts and incidents affecting customer-facing telco services.
- Diagnosing issues in distributed cloud environments under time pressure.
- Operating within strict change, security, and compliance controls.
Decision-Making
- Execute predefined on-call procedures and runbooks.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and recommend escalation.
- Take recovery actions within approved operational boundaries.
Skills for Success:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge in IAC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation to standardize configuration of Cloud resources.
- Knowledge in operating and managing multi-cloud platforms across AWS and Azure.
- Willingness to work on standby or shift-based operations.
- Fresh graduates with strong knowledge or hands-on experience with Cloud are highly encouraged to apply
