Join Optus as our next GTM Merchandising Manager, driving how our brand shows up across 260+ retail stores nationally. This role sits within GTM & Commercial Operations and is key to delivering consistent, customer‑focused merchandising execution.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the transformation of our retail visual planogramming platform into a modern, integrated one‑stop merchandising ecosystem.
- Oversee national merchandising campaign execution—visual merchandising & demo device planograms—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on‑time delivery.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders, including retail operations, device partners, print & production vendors, and logistics providers.
- Drive demo device strategy and store ecosystem enhancements to elevate customer engagement.
- Manage merchandising budgets responsibly and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
- Analyse store data, layouts, fixtures and device performance metrics to optimise future merchandising strategies.
- Lead issue resolutions relating to retail floorsets, campaign execution, inventory, and supply chain.
- Continuously refine processes, systems, training, and master data management across retail teams.
What makes you perfect
- Strong national retail merchandising experience and confidence managing complex, multi‑store execution.
- Excellent stakeholder and account management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate widely.
- Experience with planogramming platforms (Optimum Retailing highly regarded).
- Solid project management capability with the ability to manage overlapping deadlines.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and comfort working in fast‑moving environments.
